Blas is Welsh for taste. It's also what we're about. Located on Beaufort Street in Crickhowell, in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog, we're an independent wine, beer and spirits shop with a tasting table and quite possibly the smallest of our kind in Wales.
Everything on our shelves has been chosen carefully. You won't find anything here that you can pick up in a supermarket. Welsh producers come first, and the rest of the world earns its place.
We stock around 80 wines, 30 spirits and 40 beers, with a changing selection open to taste. Come in, try something, and if you love it, take a bottle home. That's it. No pressure, no jargon. Just good drinks and honest conversation.

The Fifty
The Fifty Discount: A lifetime 10% reduction on every bottle in store and all in-shop pours.
Priority Allocation: Exclusive first-look access to rare arrivals and "By Exception" bottles before they reach the general public.
Fifty Founding Members. One Ledger. No Exceptions.
We only have 50 founding memberships available. Each lifetime membership costs £200. Membership grants access to The Fifty pricing, exclusive early access to rare & collectible arrivals and Blas events.
Once these places are filled, the Founding Fifty ledger will be closed.
To become a member of The Fifty email Peter@blascrickhowell.co.uk. Submissions will be responded to in turn with details of payment. Membership cards can be collected in-store from the day we open.

The Sessions: Built around what you like to drink. Wine, Spirits, Beer, or a combination session.
Pricing: A range of Private Tasting Sessions available on request. POA but a guide would be £250 for 6 people on the Combination Tasting Menu.
